Global Contractors LLC was formed in Washington State in 2006 by Chuck Fain. For decades the work was commercial and government sitework: excavation, demolition, storm systems, utilities and concrete. Cities, counties, schools, military installations and general contractors hired us, and one project was excavation at a large international airport. The company has since moved its base to a 17-acre yard in Pleasanton, Texas.
The main work here is excavation: site excavation, building pads, cut and fill, trenching, drainage and ponds. Demolition takes down houses, mobile homes, garages, barns, commercial buildings, slabs and pools. Land clearing and forestry mulching pull the brush, mesquite and cedar off a tract. Dirt work, site prep, underground utilities, ponds and dump truck hauling fill out the rest.
We work for property developers and general contractors who need a site cleared, graded and dug. Homeowners call about a house, a garage, a pool or a slab that has to come out. Ranch and rural landowners call about brush, a silted stock tank, a pad or a ranch road. Commercial property owners call about a building to take down or a lot to get ready.
